Extra hair

Hirsutism refers to the growth of excess hair on the face, back of the lips, and breasts. This condition can occur in some diseases or in the use of certain medications. In most cases, no specific cause can be found for it. These are mostly inherited and familial cases.

There are generally two types of hair treatment: medical treatments and physical treatmentsMedical treatments: Usually, medical treatments do not completely remove the created hair, but hair growth and size are reduced.Physical Therapies: These include temporary physical therapies and permanent physical therapies.Temporary physical methods: These methods include tying, waxing, shaving with a razor blade, and similar methods. It should be noted that none of the above methods exacerbate hirsutism. If it is seen following the above methods, it is due to the process of self-disease, which means that if these methods are not used, the number of hairs will increase. In general, these methods provide acceptable results for most people in mild cases of hirsutism.Permanent physical methods: include laser electrolysis and therapy. In electrolysis, the hair follicles are burned individually with a special needle. This requires a lot of time and attention, and in the best case, it is effective in 30% of cases. This method is not without its complications. Laser treatment is currently the most effective treatment for excess hair. However, this laser treatment is not permanent in all cases. In this treatment, the hair is treated in a few sessions and a few weeks apart. Laser treatment is easy, uncomplicated and at the same time more expensive than other methods. This method is effective in 80% of cases.
